“We had the Vacuflo “hide-a-hose” installed in our new home built 10 years ago. We love it! Excellent suction, no heavy vacuum to lug up and down stairs, and the single 75’ hose reaches 90% of the house. (We were too cheap at that point to get a second hose as all that is left is some unfinished utility areas). The whole hose is contained in the wall. The power is a wifi switch on the wand so there are no cords either. Just a couple of batteries to change every few years.
We recently sucked up a fabric belt into the system which clogged it. I called the Winnipeg office and an extremely kind gentleman walked me through how to troubleshoot and fix it myself. He said the clog usually ends up at the end of the hose. And I learned from him that the whole hose comes easily out of the wall!
